Tony Roma's will disembark at Madrid airport from May

MADRID, 19 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Avanza Food restaurant group, owned since 2018 by the investment fund Abac Solutions and its management team, has announced the upcoming opening of a Tony Roma's restaurant at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, hand in hand with Cafestore, a subsidiary of Sacyr restoration.

This is one of the six restaurants recently awarded by the airport manager Aena to Cafestore (Sacyr Group) in the tender for premises dedicated to catering at the Madrid airport, and whose operation will be valid for six years, with the possibility of extension to eight years.

The new restaurant will be operational from the month of May and will be located in the air zone of Terminal T4 Satellite.

Avanza Food will bet this year to promote the expansion of Tony Roma's in Spain, a brand that it has owned since the end of 2020 in Spain, France and Portugal, after its acquisition from Tony Roma's USA.

The group will carry out a total of five openings nationwide in 2023, all of them under a franchise regime. Deellas, has already carried out the first one in January, with the inauguration of the second Tony Roma's restaurant in Alicante, located in the Vistahermosa Commercial Park.

Throughout 2022, the company opted for a complete renewal of the brand in Spain, which culminated in the presentation in December of its new image, which will incorporate its new openings throughout 2023.

Avanza Food currently has more than 400 stores and a wide portfolio of own brands Carl's Jr., Tony Roma's, Tommy Mel's, La Chelinda, Official Irish Pub, Gambrinus and Cervecería Cruz Blanca.
