Tour la Nuit and Tour de l’Ile de Montréal: make way for cycling during the weekend!

The streets will be closed and traffic will be hampered this weekend during the famous Tour de la Nuit and Tour de l'Île organized as part of the Go Bike Montreal Festival.

The road traffic plan will therefore be turned upside down by the holding of these two events, according to Vélo Québec, which recommends that road users plan their trips.

The Tour de la Nuit will kick off on Friday at 8 p.m. from two entry points for a 22 km course located in La Fontaine and Maisonneuve parks.

Several streets will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. in the boroughs of Plateau-Mont-Royal, Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie, Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and Ville-Marie.

36 km long, the Tour de l’Île de Montréal will take place on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. from three starting points in La, MacDonald and Angrignon parks.

The cyclists' route will pass through several streets in the Plateau Mont-Royal, Rosemont–La-Petite-Patrie, Outremont, Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Sud-Ouest, Verdun and Ville-Marie and the City of Westmount.

Streets will be closed to traffic and parking during the event, which will continue until 3 p.m.
