Towards an Iranian nuclear bomb

The Atomic Energy Development Agency has warned Iran that the recent unplugging of surveillance cameras at its nuclear facilities could deal a fatal blow to nuclear negotiations.

Iran is using the filing of a vote of blame against it, within the Agency, to justify its action. It is that Germany, France and Great Britain, suspect Iran of hiding important information from the Agency, in particular because of various serious inconsistencies in the responses of the Iranian authorities.

They are probably right.

In the skin of Iranians

But put yourself in the shoes of Iranian leaders. The United States has designated your country, along with North Korea and Iraq, as one of the three rogue states in the world.

You tried to negotiate a nuclear deal, but an unbalanced American president tore up that deal. This president risks being re-elected in 2024.

You notice that Iraq would probably not have been invaded if it had possessed nuclear weapons, while North Korea holds the Americans and their allies at bay.

Besides, your hereditary enemy, Saudi Arabia, is building nuclear facilities.

Finally, you have understood that Ukraine would not have been invaded by Russia if it had kept its atomic bombs.

Frankly, would you give up developing a nuclear arsenal?

To ask the question is to answer it.

The Israeli Solution

In fact, the war in Ukraine and the hardening of democratic countries towards China offer a great opportunity for Iran to continue developing its nuclear arsenal.

All the ingredients are present for the situation to degenerate even more.

Israel then risks attacking Iranian nuclear sites.

Basically, this solution may be what the United States and its allies now want.

Unless the Iranians end up overthrowing the religious totalitarian regime that crushes them.
