MADRID, 17 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) -
Aenor has awarded Transfesa Logistics the 'Zero Waste' mark, which certifies that the company revalues more than 90% of its waste, making it the first company in the railway sector to obtain this seal, as reported in a statement.
The certificate recognizes the efforts of Transfesa Logistics in terms of environmental policy, certifying that the company has a waste management system for its reuse and transformation that complies with Regulation RP-CSG-057, the most demanding in its category.
With this system, Transfesa Logistics contributes to the achievement of the twelfth Sustainable Development Goal, 'Responsible Production and Consumption', directly promoting the transition towards a more circular economy.
The new Aenor certificate awarded to the company adds to those already obtained by Transfesa Logistics in the field of environment and energy: ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
