Two men were injured after going off the road late Sunday afternoon near Ferme-Neuve, in an unorganized territory of the MRC of Antoine Labelle in the Laurentians.

The accident occurred on Chemin Parent, at kilometer 63, around 5:45 p.m.

According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the driver of a van lost control of his vehicle in a curve before it left the roadway and rolled over.

Both the driver and his passenger were taken to hospital. One was ejected from the vehicle at the time of the accident while the other was trapped inside. Their state of health is unknown.

Parent Road has been closed to traffic. An investigation has been opened to shed light on this accident.
