Vox presents its amendment against the Budgets: "They are irresponsible, wasteful and alien to reality"

MADRID, 21 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Vox has defended this Friday in Congress its amendment to the entire 2023 General State Budget project as "irresponsible, wasteful and oblivious to the reality of the Spanish".

This is how their parliamentary spokesman, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, has described them, who in a press conference in the Lower House has expressed his "absolute and total frontal rejection" of some accounts that "are born vitiated", he has said, paraphrasing the president from AIReF, Cristina Herrero, who thus referred to the accounts in her appearance this week.

In this sense, Espinosa de los Monteros has assured that the Bank of Spain and the AIReF have questioned the Government's growth forecast -- they foresee a rise in GDP of 1.5% and 1.4%, respectively, for 2023 , compared to the 2.1% projected by the Executive--, but also that of income, ensuring that they anticipate a higher deficit when the critics respond to an underestimated collection.

For the Vox spokesman, they are "expansive in spending and in ruins" Budgets, aimed at "suffocating the middle class to indulge in ideological whims" and also at "propaganda".

Thus, despite the fact that today, he said, there are "almost 13 million Spaniards at risk of poverty, more than when Sánchez came to power, we see practically no mobilization." This he responds, he has assured, to the funds "diverted to unions and employers", something that "can achieve a fictitious but very expensive social peace."

Finally, Espinosa de los Monteros has asked the Government for his resignation, the calling of elections and that the next accounts be prepared without taking the previous Budgets as a reference so as not to repeat "the errors of the past": "Amendment to the totality and infinite distance" , has riveted.
