Will Kellyanne Conway still work in the White House next year? | The Auditor

Kellyanne Conway, the president's patron of 'alternative facts' who has recently come under fire for her comments on Ivanka Trump's products, may not be planning to ride out Donald Trump's full term.

Page Six is reporting, citing sources, that Conway and her husband have only asked for a one-year leave of absence from the posh Alpine Country Club in Demarest.

Conway told Page Six, the country club's food was worth not canceling their membership that can run up to $100,000 per year and more than a year felt "like a cancellation, not a suspension."

Despite the recent fashion flap, which sparked calls for an ethics probe, the White House has fully supported Conway. Press Secretary Spicer told reporters during Friday's briefing that Conway had been "counseled" following a plug for Ivanka Trump's clothing line on Fox Friends in the Nordstrom's fallout.

The New Jersey native and special counselor to the president also made headlines when she fired back a Hillary Clinton on Twitter following a ruling striking down the travel ban.
