Within the framework of its corporate commitment to solidarity and with regard to the fight against cancer, Allianz Partners organized the donation campaign among its collaborators 'Together against cancer', with the aim of donating all the proceeds to the Spanish Association Against cancer.

According to published data from the Cancer Observatory of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, it is estimated that throughout 2022 more than 290,000 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in Spain, a figure that compared to the 285,000 diagnosed in 2021, reflects the increase in a disease that has become a global health problem. The increase in cancer diagnoses is also a consequence of the pandemic that, during confinement, has slowed down patient care and research on this disease. For this reason, and with the aim of contributing to promoting research and helping the activities organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer, Allianz Partners Spain has held the donation campaign 'Together against cancer', an internal initiative in which The entity's collaborators were able to participate, uniting for this charitable objective. The 'Together against cancer' donation campaign took place between October 19 and 28, coinciding with the International Day against Breast Cancer. During this time, more than 650 participations were collected with donations from the collaborators of Allianz Partners Spain, the accumulated amount of which was delivered to the Spanish Association Against Cancer. In addition, as part of this initiative, and to make the disease visible and to thank the collaborators of Allianz Partners, the entity organized an internal event which was also attended by María Laviña, head of Sustainability in Madrid for the Spanish Association Against Cancer, and Isabel Bauluz, manager of the Association. Within the framework agreement signed with the Association and with the In order to continue raising awareness about this disease, Allianz Partners Spain organized various dissemination and awareness activities during the month of October, promoted by the association itself and designed for all the entity's collaborators, such as: • Online workshop on prevention and diagnosis of prostate cancer, led by specialists from the Association. • Online workshop on physical ocancer therapy, in which its importance, the techniques it uses and the benefits for oncological patients were explained. Collaborators respond by showing their interest in helping others. We share the concern of the AECC for the disease and the importance of being able to count on resources that allow us to continue caring for cancer patients and their families. As a company we are committed to the health and well-being of all people, key elements in our Sustainability strategy. With these initiatives we not only seek to give visibility to the work of the Association, and offer our support, together with our collaborators".
