The jury has recognized Bookker's innovative proposal for the efficient management of workspaces. In this first edition of the Madrid Network Awards 2022, initiatives and projects that have benefited the region's economy have been awarded
The Madrid Network Awards 2022, held last Thursday 20, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Madrid, have distinguished Bookker with the Prize for the Fastest Growing Madrid Startup of the Year, thus recognizing the company's efforts since its creation.
The jury has recognized Bookker's value proposition, a SaaS solution for efficient, sustainable and integrated workspace management. Today, Bookker manages, through augmented reality, more than 200,000 jobs in companies such as Telefónica, Toyota, Bimbo or Danone.
Bookker is a unique project in the world. Thanks to its solution, the companies that implement it manage to save 30% on real estate and energy costs. In addition, it improves productivity by around 35-40%.
For Miguel Ángel Orellana, CEO of Bookker, the award represents "a boost to our project, an unequivocal sign that we are moving in the right direction". Orellana also considers that "initiatives such as the Madrid Network Awards are necessary to give visibility to innovative proposals such as Bookker's."
In just two years, Bookker has managed to make a profit thanks to knowing how to adapt technology to the needs of the moment. In 2021, the company managed to multiply its turnover by six.
Other companies awarded in the act, have been:
• Iberiaval. Award for the Business Action with the Greatest Impact for the people of Madrid in the category of Innovation.
• HM Hospitals Group. Grand Prize Madrid Network Awards 2022.
• Fain Elevators. Award for the Best Business Digital Transformation.
• Polytechnic University of Madrid. Award in Business Sustainability Category.
• Funditec and Botech. Cybersecurity Innovation Award.
• Smart Topservices. Award in the category of Social Responsibility.
Companies such as OuiGo, Greener, Creast and MadFintech, among others, have also received their distinction.
Madrid Network Awards 2022
Held for the first time this year, the Madrid Network Awards 2022 aim to recognize companies that have made great progress in the Community of Madrid in the following fields:
• Innovation.
• Opportunities.
• Technology.
• Business Sustainability.
• Projection.
• Social responsability.
Organized by Madrid Network, with the collaboration of the Community of Madrid and Madrid Innovation as Institutional Partners, the awards recognize cases of business success and give visibility to projects and initiatives that have boosted the Madrid economy.
Innovation and business excellence are the fundamental pillars on which these awards are based. In these, the companies that have excelled in these aspects throughout the past 2021 are recognized.
