-The Canton Fair explores new green business opportunities to achieve carbon emission reduction and neutrality
GUANGZHOU, China, Oct. 20, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to the "double carbon" strategy, the 132nd Canton Fair calls on all high-quality enterprises to jointly promote the development of conservation of energy, emission reduction and green environmental protection, adding a low-carbon and green filtering option in the search for products to promote green credentials and green networking. As of October 15, more than 540,000 green and low-carbon products had been introduced on the virtual platform of the Canton Fair.
One of the eco-friendly products on display was an adhesive tape from Shanghai Yongguan Adhesive Product Corp ("YG Tape"), a world leader in biodegradable tapes, created on the world's most advanced Bruckner film production line. As well as creating biodegradable tape, the production line is energy efficient, thanks to advances in smart equipment and the use of photovoltaics to replace oil.
Another company participating in the Canton Fair is Fujian Sijia Industrial Material, which places low carbon emission at the center of its activity. At the Canton Fair, Fujian Sijia introduced its eco-friendly flooring designs, including polypropylene and PET flooring designed without plasticizers and halogens, food-grade plastic stone flooring, and RVT blocking products that solve the cupping problems of floors composed of plastic stone. Fujian Sijia's production line adopts fully automated intelligent production processes.
The texture of the product is inspired by stone and wood, providing various textures according to the specifications desired by users, such as blanket grain, bamboo grain, hexagonal pattern or customized. All products have obtained environmental certifications such as Floorscore from the United States, A from France or AgBB from Germany. All products are natural and use environmentally friendly raw materials that can be reused and recycled.
