ASTANA, Kazakhstan, Sept. 3, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- The Bulat Utemuratov Foundation (the "Foundation") is pleased to announce the opening of a new municipal school in the town of Kosshy, in the Akmola region of Kazakhstan. It will become one of the leading schools in the country, providing an innovative and progressive curriculum for local children.

The Foundation has fully funded the 7.5 billion tenge ($16.5 million) project, which serves 3,000 students, and has now donated the completed school to the Kosshy local government to own and operate.

Kazakhstan has experienced a significant increase in students in recent years: 400,000 first graders began their studies in 2021, which has placed a significant burden on schools, including Kosshy's.
