RELEASE: 154.4 MW Astronergy n-type modules to structure the largest TOPCon photovoltaic plant in Europe

(Information sent by the signatory company)

HANGZHOU, China, March 7, 2023/PRNewswire/ -- A total of 154.4 MWdc ASTRO N5 TOPCon photovoltaic modules have been delivered to Germany, to realize Europe's largest TOPCon photovoltaic plant in Döllen, Brandenburg.

Pioneering the mass production of TOPCon n-type PV modules, ASTRO N series has gained a lot of attention around the world after the first project with 355MWdc was signed in Australia. The Döllen PV plant is a further step in introducing TOPCon n-type technology to the global market, powered by Astronergy's ASTRO N5 series.

Financed by CEE Group and developed by Antlike Solar, the Döllen photovoltaic plant will sell power in the form of PPAs and aims to take over part of the responsibilities for climate stabilization, energy tariff reduction and energy independence. The Döllen PV project is currently one of the largest open space PV parks in Germany.

After connection to the grid at the end of 2023, the PV plant will supply more than 150,000 MWh of green electricity per year.

Detlef Schreiber, CEO of the CEE Group, commented: "The new solar park on the Döllen site impresses with a nominal power of 154.4 MWp and at the same time illustrates the potential of renewable energy as a central component of the transition energetic".

Timo Franz, Head of Project Business Europe at Astronergy, added that CEE is strongly committed to providing green energy across Europe. We were delighted to provide you with our new high-efficiency n-type TOPCon PV modules for your project implementation, as well as your confidence in our quality and partnership.
