CHENGDU, China, Dec. 22, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2022 Times Young Creative Awards ceremony, co-hosted by Want Want China Times Media Group and Chengdu Media Group, took place in Chengdu on December 16, in which the list of winners was officially announced. A total of 99,694 entries from China, the United States, France, Italy, South Korea, Belgium, Malaysia and other countries participated. Finally, the organizing committee selected the gold, silver and bronze awards from 175 entries from the top three entries in each competition area.

The theme-specific award titled "Introducing Chengdu with Cultural and Creative Works in Digital Form: Design Award for Park City Demonstration Zone in Our Eyes" proposed by Chengdu Media Group was announced at the same time. The campaign has designs for advertising, souvenirs and landscaping, selecting three works for the gold, silver and bronze awards, in addition to several awards for excellent works; the maximum reward reached 10,000 RMB. The work "Games", an advertisement design produced by Sichuan University students Ma Ying, Hui Huaxiao and Wang Xueyuan, won the gold prize.

"Tip of the Iceberg" by Taibei Private High School in Chinese Taipei won the silver award, and "Redesigning Industrial Relics Under Urban Landscape Concept" by Yantai Institute of Technology won the bronze award. "This is Chengdu Anren Ancient Town" from Chengdu University of Technology won the Excellent Award along with other works.

This year's Times Young Creative Awards established the mainland China competition area and Chinese Taipei and overseas competition areas and collects 1,063 entries from 3,976 young designers from around the world. The works of these young designers presented the characteristic elements of Chengdu, such as snow mountains, parks, pandas, Sichuan Opera, greenways, lakes, and sun birds, in a diversified way. Chengdu's future urban scenes, where a city is built in parks, parks in cities, green through windows, and parks outside the gate, become design inspiration for Chengdu, which aims to build a city demonstration area park under the new development concept. The campaign integrates personal dreams with urban dreams by creating visible, audible and interactive physical images in the form of digital cultural creation, and involves everyone in building Chengdu into a park city.
