The Association of Environmental Companies of the Region of Murcia, held its edition of the Green and Circular Entrepreneurship Week the week of November 21 to 25. Organized by the Murcia City Council and the association, which in its 20 years, is consolidated with all its activities bringing together companies in order to advise, offer training, promote startups and mediate between SMEs, self-employed with the administration to promote and support self-employment in the green pact of the European Union

Region of Murcia, 12/2/2022.- Around three hundred entrepreneurs have participated in the Green and Circular Entrepreneurship Week. An event that is organized by the Department of Employment, Commerce and Markets of the Murcia City Council and Aema, the Association of Environmental Companies of the Region of Murcia, chaired by Daniel Robles Brugarolas and directed by the manager of Aema Juan Ramón Escoda, and that it has carried out events during the week of November 21 to 25.

The first act that took place at the Occidental Siete Coronas hotel in Murcia on Monday, November 21. A meeting between the main representatives of financial institutions such as: Caixabank, Triodos Bank, Cajamar and Banco de Sabadell, together with environmental entrepreneurs and the public, since the era was free and free.

The inauguration of the week was in charge of the president of Aema, Daniel Robles Brugarolas, where the manager, Juan Ramón Escoda and the head of communication and coordinator of Emprende Aema, the journalist Marlén Fernández, who gave an account of all the details. from the event to the media.

Once the presentations were made, the concerns and obstacles faced by entrepreneurs in terms of financing, financial institutions were revealed and each representative proposed various solutions to the attendees.

On Tuesday, November 22, the film "Mediterranean" was shown at the Centrofama cinema, which deals with the problem of immigration, a highly topical issue since the UN plans that the number of climate refugees will increase in the next decade. The film had a prior discussion in which Antonio Rosa, an environmental athlete, and Rafael Hortaz, author of the book "Navigating through the stories of the Costa Calidad" participated.

Wednesday, November 23, was one of the key days of the week of green and circular entrepreneurship. The central act of the WEEK was held from Los Molinos del Rio, the DAY OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND GREEN ECONOMY.

The appointment was in the auditorium of the emblematic place, some intense conferences on environmental entrepreneurship were held with the participation of various speakers and round tables.

After the inauguration by the authorities of the City Council, the first talk was given by Yago Uribe, founding partner and director of operations of InOrbit developments, entitled "Help your company and your professional project grow", finished, there was a "table of companies and green economy", continued with a talk by María Cruz Ferreira Acosta, director of the local Agency and energy and climate change in Murcia City Council, continued with the "Table of green entrepreneurs", "Mattresses and recycling, The tribe room and Murcia circular economy, all of them examples of successful entrepreneurs, the table was moderated by Marlén Fernández.

Subsequently, another talk was held with Lorena Núñez, a visual communication designer. By then the participation of the public, questions and interest was maximum.

On Friday, November 25, an online workshop called 'Carbon Footprint Calculation for Entrepreneurs and Green Companies' was held, as well as a colloquium meeting held in Los Molinos del Río called "Entrepreneurial creativity and new business opportunities" in collaboration with OMEP in which the companies such as Azor ambiental, Aldaba tourist services, HIPATIA, entrepreneurs such as Angela Gil Sabater, Mayca Dengra Romero, Mª José Gimena Almansa and moderated by Carmen Garrido, director of UMU Emprende.

The president of AEMA-RM Daniel Robles Brugarolas, highlighted the multiple opportunities that are opening up for entrepreneurs thanks to the European Union's firm commitment to changing the economic model, from a linear economy to a circular and sustainable model. The environment is becoming more important within the company every day, it is an economically profitable model that is respectful of the planet that offers new opportunities for companies that have the vision of leading change. Without a doubt, these conferences have contributed to helping entrepreneurs environmental organizations to lead this change of model towards the circular economy.

The 2023 agenda is already full of projects where entrepreneurship and sustainability will be the objective of alliances that promote a change in mentality to improve the planet and employment within the new circular economy model.
