The leading Insurance and Assistance company dedicates February to its corporate commitment to the fight against cancer. On this occasion, and hand in hand with the El Sueño de Vicky foundation and the Oncowellness company, the entity has focused on childhood cancer and the importance of rehabilitation therapies during and after oncological processes

According to data published by the Spanish Association Against Cancer AECC, each year more than 1,000 cases of cancer are diagnosed in children between 0 and 14 years of age, this being the main cause of death in this group. Although experts indicate that the survival of patients with childhood cancer is more than 80%, in developing countries this figure does not exceed 30%. In this context, organizations such as the El Sueño de Vicky Foundation stand out, whose The objective is to finance research projects against childhood cancer and to improve current treatments. They make this possible by financing research projects, clinical trials, and supporting the rehabilitation of children who suffer the consequences of surgeries and treatments. Precisely, to help in their work, Allianz Partners has developed a fundraising campaign among its collaborators, covering a part of the purchases they have made in the online store of the El Sueño de Vicky foundation. In total, more than 800 euros were raised, which will be used to continue researching childhood cancer and improve current treatments. Also, in the month of February and responding to its commitment to the fight against cancer, Allianz Partners has organized an internal campaign focused on in prevention, research and in disseminating the necessary knowledge to alleviate the consequences of cancer treatments, through different activities in which its collaborators were able to participate. Talks with purpose The entity organized two days to raise awareness about cancer.
