- Applied Intuition Acquires SceneBox Platform to Strengthen Solutions for Machine Learning Data Operations

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., March 21, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Applied Intuition, Inc., a provider of simulation and software for autonomous vehicle (AV) development, has acquired SceneBox, a data management and operations platform built specifically for machine learning (ML). The core team from Caliber Data Labs, Inc., the creator of SceneBox, will join the Applied team.

The SceneBox platform enables engineers to train better and more accurate ML models with a data-centric approach. To successfully train production-level machine learning models, teams rely heavily on high-quality data sets. When working with huge unstructured data, finding the right data sets can be difficult, time consuming, and expensive. SceneBox enables engineers to quickly explore, select, and compare data sets, diagnose problems, and orchestrate complex data operations. The platform offers a rich web interface, extensive APIs, and advanced features such as embed-based search.
