The company, included in the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index 2023, is committed to a diverse and inclusive culture where the role of women is essential. Thanks to these company actions and initiatives to sustain a diverse and inclusive culture, BAT has been recognized by being included in the 2023 Bloomberg Gender Equality Index (IEG) in its first year of participation. With more than 40% of women in management positions, BAT is committed to female talent within the entire organization, something that fits with its commitment to reduce labor inequality. In addition, to achieve this, the organization has taken important steps through internal policies that promote diversity and the development of women. Initiatives that promote gender equality BAT is committed to creating an inclusive culture for women through its hiring initiatives, the adoption of family-friendly policies, the sponsorship of programs dedicated to the education of women and the support of community programs.
