JAKARTA, Indonesia, Dec. 17, 2022/PRNewswire/ -- PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Tbk (IDX: BBRI) presents BRILIANPRENEUR UMKM EXPO(RT) 2022 in a hybrid format. This year's event has been warmly welcomed since its virtual expo kickoff from December 1-31, 2022, as well as the offline event featuring 502 selected Indonesian MSME products from December 14-18, 2022 at the Jakarta Convention Center.

Furthermore, visitors can purchase MSME products on the spot by clicking on one of the links to the e-commerce platforms.

Constant efforts of MSMEs to surpass the world stage

The 500 selected MSMEs, drawn from 22 provinces across Indonesia, were based on criteria required by international standards, including product design, innovation, social impact and sustainability, export values, and achievements.

Evoking Indonesian culture and moving towards sustainability, BRILIANPRENEUR UMKM EXPO(RT) 2022 also showcases two new product categories spanning digital and wellness, complementing flagship categories such as home décor, food and beverage, accessories and fashion.

Among the main food and beverage products is "YAMMY BABEH", which has participated in this program since 2019. Its founder, Bunda Elis, admitted that BRI's support contributed almost 90% of its total exports.

"This program has boosted our productivity, even during the pandemic. In March 2020 we executed our first export orders to Australia, followed by Canada in November. Thanks to BRI's support, we have exhibited our products at numerous international fairs, including India, Mexico, Hong Kong and Malaysia," Bunda Elis said.
