Completion of declarations of conformity with the European Medical Device Regulations (EU MDR) and the United Kingdom Medical Device Regulations (UK MDR)
TOKYO, Aug. 31, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Casio Computer Co., Ltd. today announced that the DZ-C100 COLPOCAMERA, designed for utero-cervical observation and photography in gynecology settings, and the CST-100M camera mount will be released on 5 of September. These products will be marketed by Casio Europe GmbH (Norderstedt, Germany) and Casio Electronics Co. Ltd. (Wembley, UK). The image management software for PC D'z IMAGE Viewer C will also be available on the same day.
In March 2022, Casio launched in Japan the DZ-C100 COLPOCAMERA, which supports early detection of cervical cancer, the CST-100M camera mount, which is designed for ease of use and convenience, and D'software. z IMAGE Viewer C, providing efficient image management. The DZ-C100 has been highly praised for its ability to capture three types of images (normal/green/polarized) with a single press of the shutter, the way its touch focus function allows the user to focus on an area simply by touching it on the LCD monitor and the design of the CST-100M stand, which makes the unit easy to store and move in tight spaces.
Conformity studies for the European Medical Device Regulations (EU MDR) and the United Kingdom Medical Device Regulations (UK MDR) have been completed for the DZ-C100 COLPOCAMERA and the CST-100M camera mount. Having issued the EU Declaration of Conformity* and the UK Declaration of Conformity*, sales in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and other European countries will start on September 5th.
