Introducing a new color option for the GM-B2100 line of all-metal watches with octagonal bezels
TOKYO, Feb. 21, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Casio Computer Co., Ltd. today announced the launch of the latest addition to the G-SHOCK brand of shock resistant watches. The new GM-B2100GD-9A features an all-metal design with an iconic octagonal bezel, now in a striking new golden yellow hue.
With the 2019 launch of the first watch in the 2100 line - the GA-2100 digital-analog combo model - Casio introduced a contemporary interpretation of the first G-SHOCK. Known for its distinctive octagonal bezel and slim, simple design, the line has proven popular around the world.
The new GM-B2100GD-9A announced today is a shock resistant watch presented in a shimmering yellow-gold hue, offering a new color option for these GM-B2100 models. The yellow-gold IP is applied not only to the bezel and strap, but even to small facets of the design, such as the side buttons and screws. Separate applications of a fine finish on the top surface of the bezel and a mirror finish on its gently sloping sides enhance the textured look of the superbly shiny metal.
Details in a tone similar to yellow gold are applied to highlight components such as the indices and hands. They stand out against the black dial, giving the watch an elegant impression. As well as offering a design versatile enough to match any outfit, be it casual or formal, the color yellow gold exudes a subtly distinctive character.
The new watch also offers practical utility, with a Tough Solar charging system that eliminates the need for regular battery replacement. It's also equipped with the Mobile Link* function for accurate time display and easy setting of alarms, world time and other functions when the smartphone is paired via Bluetooth®.
