The first official university master's degree in Industrial Safety is presented in Spain, a discipline in charge of preventing and limiting risks and protecting people, goods and the environment in industrial activity, facilities and equipment
Industrial Safety is a discipline of great importance to prevent risks, protect people, property and the environment, and respond to business needs for protection against facility failures. To meet this need, the Polytechnic University of Valencia has created an official Master's Degree in Industrial Safety in Spain, which aims to train engineering professionals capable of coordinating, managing and executing tasks in this field, identifying and assessing the legal, organizational, technical, technological and environmental conditions. The Master is made up of three modules; one compulsory, another optional, and another Master's thesis and is aimed at university graduates in engineering from the industrial branch, as well as engineering graduates (Industrial, Chemistry, Mechanics, Materials, Electricity, and Electronics). The program is taught in 50% by external professionals from national and international companies of recognized prestige, business associations and professional associations, which makes it possible to provide students with a practical and realistic vision of the performance of the profession for which they are being trained.
