HELMOND, The Netherlands, Oct. 24, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta, a leading global provider of power and thermal management solutions, today opened a new facility at the Automotive Campus in Helmond, the Netherlands, to support the expansion of its industrial automation, industrial power supply and automotive business development, product testing and technical support in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Thanks to the implementation of Delta's smart energy-saving solutions and its innovative green design, the new 4,055-square-meter facility is expected to consume 56.84% less electricity annually than traditional buildings[1]. In recognition of these efforts, the Delta Helmond office, which will eventually house more than 150 employees and further strengthen Delta's leadership capabilities in e-mobility, has received a LEED Gold green building certificate from the U.S. Government. Green Building Council.

Helmond's new green building is a showcase for Delta's growing portfolio of smart energy-saving products and solutions:

Accelerating market development in EMEA

Covering some 4,055 square metres, the new building is more than three times the size of Delta's former facility in Eindhoven. The building has offices and also facilities for equipment testing and maintenance. At the main entrance there is an exhibition room, where visitors can see the wide range of solutions that Delta offers.

Together with the EMEA head office in Hoofddorp, this new location will play a key role in Delta Electronics' growth throughout EMEA, with a focus on industrial automation, industrial power and automotive solutions.

With the office located at the top technology innovation hotspot for industry and mobility, Delta fits perfectly into the ecosystem and anticipates new business partnerships will be established there. Its presence at the Automotive Campus will facilitate knowledge exchange and initiate joint R&D programs with students from local universities such as the Technical University of Eindhoven and the Fontys Hogeschool. Over time, around 150 employees will work at the Helmond location, while creating exciting job opportunities for students in the region.
