RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, Nov. 17, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Alwaleed Philanthropies (AP), chaired by HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Al Saud, has launched its latest innovative metaverse initiative, a hub that combines multiple virtual spaces to offer users an unparalleled digital and cultural experience. AP launched the center on International Tolerance Day, which is an annual observance day declared by UNESCO in 1995 to raise public awareness of the dangers of intolerance. The initiative is in keeping with AP's mission to bridge the gap between cultures and pave the way for more open and tolerant global communities, using the latest disruptive 3D technology to spread its message around the world and connect with younger generations.
The experience will be live on the Decentraland platform, where attendees will be able to explore the multi-story building that displays elements of historical stories, while linking diverse cultures. The development of the digital experience was inspired by AP's mandate since its founding more than 4 decades ago to build and foster tolerance across all of humanity.
