The fourth and decisive stage of the FIDE Women's Grand Prix will take place in Cyprus from May 15 to 28. The event will be held under the auspices of the Cypriot Chess Federation and with the support of Limassol-based Freedom Finance Europe, the European subsidiary of Freedom Holding Corp.
The event is the result of the association between Freedom Holding Corp. and the International Chess Federation (FIDE), whose objective is to promote chess and encourage new talents in the next generation of chess players. Twelve competitors will participate in the FIDE Women's Grand Prix, which will be attended by the chess legend and five-time world champion Viswanathan Anand. The event will take place at the Hilton Hotel in the Cyprus capital Nicosia from May 15 to 28.
