At the end of October, the third edition of the "Alcobendas Leader Awards" took place at Espazio 32 in Alcobendas, which commemorate companies and people with recognized trajectories in the Madrid town
This municipality is one of the most prominent at the business level, with some 16,000 companies and ranking third in terms of billing. In said act, the mayor of Alcobendas, Aitor Retolaza, affirmed that "Alcobendas today has more workers in its companies than its neighbours, an unemployment rate of 6.5% compared to about 12.5% in Spain".
Among the winners, it is almost mandatory to mention Gabriel Bellomusto, a man closely linked to Alcobendas, who year after year seeks the promotion of DentalCom, the dental clinic of which he is the general director. On this occasion, he received the Business Leader of the Year award, thus highlighting his work in managing and directing teams, while showing his commitment to improving the quality of life of his patients and contributing to the environmental and social promotion of the environment that surrounds him.
But talking about Gabriel goes much further than that. An economist with a clear entrepreneurial profile, he has an extensive career full of professional successes. Proof of this are the different companies that he has created focused on sectors as diverse as health, food, training, communication, agriculture and online commerce.
With a more than proven gift for directing, he actively participates in Boards of Directors and training in leading companies in the country such as Alsa, IDB, Telefónica, Repsol or Caja Rural, among others.
In addition, it also highlights his clear vocation for teaching, which he shows as a professor in Business Schools focused on areas of innovation and entrepreneurship, such as IE Business School and the European University of Madrid.
His intrepid and enterprising character, always looking for business models that make a difference, has led him to specialize in the dental health sector. It currently has four dental clinics in the region, among which its best-known brand in Alcobendas stands out, DentalCom, whose origins date back to 1987 and today continues to expand. In addition, it is part of WHITE SMILE, with more than 50 people at the service of Dental health.
