"To ensure the maximum safety of the APX HV battery system, we apply five levels of comprehensive protection in the product," said Lisa Zhang, vice president of marketing for Growatt. "Protections include active battery management system (BMS) for each cell, pack-level power optimizer and integrated aerosol fire protection for each module, an arc fault circuit interrupter (AFCI) and a replaceable fuse for the entire system." As for system reliability, APX HV Battery applies IP66 protection grade and intelligent self-heating technology to enable operation outdoors and at the lowest temperature of -10℃.
Its Plug-and-Play solution allows for highly efficient installation, and the APX HV battery also eliminates the pre-charging process, minimizing the efforts and time required during paralleling and maintenance. When new battery packs are added, the APX HV system dynamically recognizes and automatically updates the software to the latest version for the older batteries.
