This is the third consecutive financial quarter that the Omdia report, which details the total volume of shipments of the world's largest TV makers, ranks Hisense in second place. Hisense also ranked second for all of 2022 and the first half of 2023.
In the second quarter of 2023, Hisense achieved a volume share of 13.7% in TVs globally and shipments increased 19.3% year-on-year. This growth far exceeded the industry average, which was only 5.3%. Hisense also turned out to be the brand with the highest year-over-year increase in market share, growing 1.6 percentage points.
