Spain, February 15, 2023.

'Mediterranean Stone' is the latest sustainable creation of the Levantina Group, a world leading company in the stone sector. "It is about our selection of marble and limestone in slab format," explains Patrice Pages, Levantina's Managing Director of Mining and Marble, who will recently celebrate one year working at the company.

The new sustainable line is defined as authentic, long-lasting, noble and sustainable. Parameters that have been part of the Levantina Group's DNA since it was founded in 1959. With Mediterranean Stone, the group intends to fully enter the outdoor and landscape decoration sector. A leap for which the Levantina Group is weaving "a commercial network in Europe and the US together with the Middle East market" which should serve "as a lever for growth this 2023", says Pages. In turn, the manager explains that another important point is the "support" provided by the Levantina Stone Centers network to "incorporate showrooms in which to find this selection of Mediterranean Stone stones, thus bringing us closer to our professionals and prescribers in Spain, UK and USA". To make that leap that allows it to fully enter the landscape decoration sector, Levantina Group has used its extensive experience in the work and craftsmanship of natural stone through two factors. And it is that its products always come with the quality signature provided by having its own network of quarries and controlling the entire supply chain. In addition, it is in the finishes, treatments and subsequent cuts, in its factories, that an important part of the added value of each Levantina natural stone is generated, which makes it unique.Mediterranean Stone, a premium selection from Levantina Group For the Mediterranean Stone line, has been thought of two main ideas: first, betting on warm tones inspired by the Mediterranean. "This Mediterranean style also stands out for its visual purity, creating environments that transmit calm and serenity thanks to its color and beauty," says Pages about the inspiration followed. Secondly, it has also sought to offer a type of aged finish, which evoke the passing of time. A practice that has become one of the most popular decorative trends around the world today. The final result is a sustainable collection that stands out for its low porosity, water absorption, resistance to impacts and high temperatures, as well as its high durability and ease of cleaning. And that Levantina presents in the following shades: Crema Marfil Perlado, Crema Marfil Calima, Caliza Santorini, Caliza Izamal, Travertino Vallanca, Caliza Caramelo, Caliza Atacama or Mármol Caoba. Levantina, Experience and sustainability Levantina Group with extensive experience in the stone sector, founded in 1959, is not only synonymous with comprehensive, transparent and quality service, but is also a benchmark in sustainability. In such a way, that the firm maintains a strong commitment to the environment and sustainable development that applies to the entire life cycle of its products, which have all the necessary environmental recognitions for any project to obtain the LEED, BREEAM or GREEN. In turn, it also has different projects underway with which to make the planet a better place every day. Specifically, the group's effort to install photovoltaic plants for its centers in Porriño and Alicante stands out. With this, Pages points out that it will allow the group to "cover 30% of its energy demand", which will help it eliminate "627 tons of CO2 per year, equivalent to planting more than 60,000 trees".
