In recent flight tests conducted by various drone developers, commercial drones equipped with Montavista's new METARY® P series product have demonstrated 60~80% longer flight time compared to using a commercial battery of lithium ion (LIB).
Extending flight time is critical to many practical commercial drone applications. METARY® P Series has provided a unique solution for such application scenarios. By adopting lithium metal anode and optimized non-flammable liquid electrolyte, METARY® P series cells provide not only high specific energy of more than 400Wh/kg which can withstand ultra-long airborne time for drone but also a high specific power that can safely lift and maneuver it at high speed.
Montavista is a leader in the development and manufacture of LMB. In 2020, Montavista launched its METARY® E series LMB product line that provides ultra-high specific energy of more than 500 Wh/kg with relatively lower specific power, suitable for applications such as solar-powered high-altitude aircraft. .
