-MultiversX announces that EGLD Staking and ESDT tokens are now available to more than 1.5 million Ledger Live users
SIBIU, Romania, Feb. 3, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, MultiversX is pleased to announce the next step in its partnership with Ledger by integrating EGLD betting into the Ledger Live app, offering more than 1.5 Millions of users secure access to EGLD betting services.
Along with this milestone, Ledger now also participates in the proposal and validation of blocks on the MultiversX blockchain network through its own betting pool, managed in collaboration with Figment. Ledger's betting pool already has 7 nodes and can currently host an unlimited number of EGLDs.
The bet is the way to contribute to the security and decentralization of the network, and even to its scalability in the case of the MultiversX blockchain, since it can grow linearly in performance as more fragments are added.
Additionally, Ledger's integration into MultiversX now extends to ESDT tokens: MEX, USDC, and RIDE are now available for secure storage, management, and transfer, with more MultiversX tokens to follow soon.
