The ENDER LILIES team teams up with veterans of the TRPG genre for their second title, coming in February 2023
TOKYO, Dec. 12, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Redemption Reapers, the dark fantasy tactical RPG developed by Adglobe and published by Binary Haze Interactive (ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights,), is coming up and preparing for a Steam release for Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in February 2023.
Redemption Reapers is being created by industry luminaries including tactical RPG veteran Masayuki Horikawa (Fire Emblem series director and stage and level designer; planning Kingdom Hearts III), as well as an all-star voice cast. which includes Kyle McCarley (13 Sentinels: Aegis of Ruin, NieR: Automata), Allegra Clark (Apex Legends, Dragon Age: Inquisition), David Lodge (Persona 5, Final Fantasy XV) and Lucien Dodge (Fire Emblem: Three Houses, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel).
Hope fades across the land after the sudden appearance of the ruthless Mort armies. As efficient as they are brutal, the ghoulish forces descend upon civilizations, leaving destruction behind their nightly raids. As entire nations fall to the Mort's onslaught, the Ashhawk Brigade, a contingent of mercenaries specializing in surprise tactics, bands together to fight the invading legions.
Lead the Ashhawk Brigade in tactical skirmishes on 3D maps. Employ strategic movement, directing units across the battlefield before issuing orders to attack, defend, or deploy abilities each turn. Overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles by mastering sneak attacks for extra damage or powerful combo attacks from multiple squad members.
Make sure everyone in the squad is prepared for the trials ahead by outfitting the group with powerful gear. Turn the spoils of victory into resources to craft powerful weapons and armor. Upgrade skills to unlock combat skills capable of turning a troop of underdogs into fearless champions.
Fight your way through Mort and discover a gripping and coming of age story of wartime struggles. He witnesses the powerful moments that unfold between the Brigade members during cutscenes, in which the fighters learn more about their allies and the world around them. He guides the Ashhawk Brigade's rise from obscurity to folk heroes as its members confront their dark past as a deadly - and despised - organization dubbed "Faithless Reapers."
