SHENZHEN, China, March 30, 2023/PRNewswire/ -- The Grand Final of the 2022 PHBS-CJBS Global Pitch Competition was recently held at the China-Britain Institute in Qianhai, Shenzhen. The event drew thousands of investors, start-up entrepreneurs, and the public, both in person and online. The competition involved nearly 200 high-quality start-ups from around the world in a variety of fields such as medicine and healthcare, chip and semiconductor industry, high-tech, energy and environmental protection, SaaS and business services, and cultural and creative products.
A total of 8 national and 2 international start-ups made it to the final round after a series of competitive presentation sessions and 13 tours over the past year. In the late afternoon, a representative from each team had 10 minutes to present the group's business plan to a jury made up of academics, investors and businessmen, after which a 5-minute question and answer session was held.
After a close competition, the first prize went to LaSense Technology (Shenzhen) Limited. RuoxinTech Co., Ltd and ZRD New Energy Co., Ltd won the second prize. Shutang Information Technology (Shenzhen) Co., LTD, LIANFENG ACOUSTIC TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD, Shenzhen HoloEpoch Media Technology Co., Ltd, CCCulture, and Ciyunge Medical Technology Co., Ltd, won third prize. Two international start-ups, NEURONSPIKE and Design with FRANK, won the award for Most Outstanding Start-up. Following the contest, the Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Forum featured keynote addresses by renowned entrepreneurs and investors, including topics such as innovation trends, entrepreneurship and venture capital, and cultivating innovative leaders.
Launched in 2020, the PHBS-CJBS Global Pitch Competition has won great support from Shenzhen Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Science and Technology Innovation Committee and many venture capital institutions, incubators, scientific research institutes and renowned industry leaders.
