RELEASE: Tempel Group activates a collection of new toys for boys and girls from different hospitals in Spain

(Information sent by the signatory company)

Spain, December 21, 2022.

Tempel Group, a company specialized in the field of energy, will donate new toys to girls and boys between the ages of 0 and 16 hospitalized in hospitals throughout Spain. Among the hospitals that will receive the toy donations are the Hospital de Sant Joan de Déu (Barcelona), Hospital la Paz (Madrid), Hospital Virgen del Rocío (Seville), Hospital de Cruces (Bilbao), Hospital Universitari i Politècnic La Fe (Valencia) and the ASANOG Association (Galicia)

From Monday, December 5 to Friday, December 16, the Tempel Group Marketing Department has collected new, unused toys from its workers to donate them to different hospitals. As it is a wide range of ages, a differentiation by age group has been made so that children receive toys according to their needs. Among the most donated toys are board games, costumes or puzzles, of a non-sexist and non-war nature. Once the collection of new toys is finished, Tempel Group has bought the same number of toys donated by its staff so that the number of gifts that reach children in hospitals is greater, as they activated the campaign. The delivery of the toys will be done through elves, Santa's helpers, the Three Wise Men and their pages. Desirée Ojeda García, Marketing Manager of Tempel Group, wanted to expand the initiative that was already carried out last year with the Vall d'Hebrón Hospital. In this initiative they participated with the campaign of the Catalan hospital "Augmented reality glasses" in which they collaborated with the project of the New Hospitalization Area for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology of the hospital itself. This year, the idea has been extended to different territories of Spain including five more hospitals and an association, all of them linked to child patients undergoing cancer treatment. However, Desirée Ojeda's objective has also been to involve all the directors and directors of the offices that Tempel Group has spread throughout the world, such as Houston, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Panama and Portugal to replicate the action in their respective countries. In order to accompany the donation of toys and continue promoting awareness towards sustainability and the environment, the company specializing in the field of energy together with Fundación Ecopilas, which collaborates with Tempel Group In said action since 2020, they will also donate a significant number of copies of their story "Get your batteries on". From the Tempel Group Marketing Department, it is vital to accompany the donation of toys with the delivery of this material, since the story represents the sustainable activity that they are carrying out jointly this year, and that will continue in 2023 in all the schools in Spain and that narrates and interrelates, thanks to the experience of its protagonist, Aurora, such important issues as bullying, work in team, collaboration and awareness towards a sustainable transformation. For Desirée Ojeda, "it is a pride to be able to accompany the little ones to continue dreaming and projecting a more ecological and STEM future, no longer only in fields such as engineering or energy, but also through a story and the eyes of a very special girl such as "Aurora", who exemplifies through her narrative and in the first person, how one can change the future through small actions linked to the 2030 SDGs".
