The energy company, together with the environmental foundation Ecopilas, has started March by raising awareness about the importance of caring for the environment to more than 200 students of the Pasteur College in the Madrid city of Arroyomolinos thanks to the story 'Ponte las Pilas'

Madrid, March 17, 2023.- Aspects such as sustainability or the preservation of the environment are becoming increasingly relevant in society. In this way, more and more companies decide to undertake initiatives that try to raise awareness of the importance of caring for the planet to reduce the increasingly pressing consequences of climate change.

One of the companies that have been working in this line is the company specialized in the energy sector Tempel Group. Among the initiatives that it has carried out in recent years is the launch, together with Ecopilas, of the story 'Ponte las Pilas'. But they have not only limited themselves to launching the story, but have also been involved in its distribution in different schools in Spain. In the same way, they also accompany the distribution with workshops on battery energy storage technology, by conducting experiments, and on the benefits of recycling for the environment.

In this line, at the beginning of the year they carried out an act with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of preserving the environment among the more than 200 students of the Pasteur School in Arroyomolinos in Madrid.

The story "Get your batteries on"

The values of the story 'Ponte las Pilas' go hand in hand with the environmental awareness strategy that, from Tempel Group, is intended to provide to the little ones. In this way, their main axis is to raise awareness about the STEAM world among the girls and boys of the new generations, while at the same time trying to spread the passion for engineering and new technologies.

Through the story of the protagonist named Aurora, different aspects related to teamwork and the environment are worked on, such as collaboration, environmental awareness, reducing the extraction of raw materials from nature, the willpower to change small things of the day to day that can have great consequences, the way to recycle different materials and, finally, the prescriptive role of the educational community and the family environment to continue promoting recycling among the little ones.
