A professional jury made up of experts in sensory analysis awards 23 Grand Gold medals, 79 Gold medals and 85 Silver medals to wines from all over Spain.

The objective of the Real Casino de Madrid Wine Competition is "to value, highlight and disseminate the enormous diversity and richness of the wines produced in Spain, promoting the culture of wine and its social and economic importance". The contest is a tribute to wine, which is part of the Mediterranean Diet, "of our history, our traditions, our culture and our art". The Real Casino de Madrid Wine Competition was born in 2020 to support the wine sector Spanish, being focused on the promotion and sale of the award-winning wines. The contest is the culmination of more than 8 years of activities around wine at the Real Casino de Madrid, one of the most important private social clubs in the world and the most important in Spain. Among the activities, which add up to more than 14,000 attendances between members of the institution and invited personalities, the following stand out: Tastings, Gatherings, Wine Tourism, Magnum Days, etc. In these activities, attendees have discovered wines, wineries, and ways of understanding the culture of wine, of the entire Spanish geography, enjoying the enormous wealth and variety that the world of wine offers in the country. In addition, the Order of the Magnum was born within the Real Casino de Madrid, one of the first wine orders in Spain.
