Madrid, April 25, 2023.- The turnover of the FCC Group in the first quarter of this year was 2,026.7 million euros, which represents an increase of 21.2%, compared to the same period last year. It is important to highlight the good performance of all the businesses, especially the Construction area, which grew by 55.7%. Gross operating profit (Ebitda) was 332.1 million euros, which represents a increase of 19.3%, compared to the first quarter of the previous year. It is worth highlighting the contribution of the Cement and Construction areas with outstanding growth, due to the high increase in activity. For its part, the attributable net result has obtained a growth of 13.9% to reach 96.9 million euros. At the end of the quarter, net worth reached 5,066.2 million euros, 2.6% higher than that registered in the same period of 2022, thanks to the increase achieved by the consolidated result of the Group. Regarding the income portfolio of the FCC Group, the figure reached 42,073.8 million euros at the end of the quarter, which represents an increase of 4.5% in relation to the same date of the previous year, explained by the contribution of the Water area, followed by the from the Environment area.
