Company to supply its Genius Tracker™ to 125 MW of development projects in New South Wales and Victoria

NORWALK, Conn., Nov. 15, 2023/PRNewswire/ -- On October 26, GameChange Solar, a leading global provider of solar trackers and fixed tilt rack technology, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bison Energy at the All Expo and Conference Energy Australia held in Melbourne. The MOU notes a partnership between the two companies to work collaboratively to bring five solar projects totaling more than 125 MW to the Australian market. Under this agreement, GameChange Solar will supply its Genius Tracker™ to Bison Energy development projects located in New South Wales and Victoria.

“We are proud to partner with Bison Energy on this agreement,” said Derick Botha, Chief Commercial Officer of GameChange Solar. "This announcement is the culmination of two companies sharing an aligned strategic vision to repower the planet through the production of renewable generation solar parks. We hope this lays the foundation for a global alliance with Bison Energy."

Bison Energy is a global private developer, investor, EPC and asset owner for environmentally friendly renewable energy projects and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, with offices in Europe, Southeast Asia, the Americas and Australia/New Zealand. Bison Energy Australia has been developing in Australia since 2017 and the 350 MW Walla Walla solar farm is its biggest accolade. Since then, they have developed a broad portfolio of solar parks of various sizes and hybrid solar parks including energy storage and stand-alone energy storage projects.

Brendan Murphy, Bison Energy Country Director for Australia and New Zealand, said: "We are delighted to be partnering with GameChange Solar. Mark Legge and his experienced technical team have been instrumental in supporting Bison to date through one of our Victorian projects. The racking industry is tough, but GameChange Solar has managed to carve out a niche in the market with its efficient pre-assembly and quick-clamp designs that greatly impress Bison Energy's engineering team. In commercial terms, this type of designs save us on installation costs, which in today's environment means everything.

"We look forward to seeing the final GameChange product completed and operational so that we can continue to deliver on our promise to support communities through clean energy generation and job creation and contribute to a cleaner environment for the future, which "must be underpinned by our core value of being powered by nature," added Murphy.
