At the same time, it will provide access to environmental products such as guarantees of origin and green certificates. In the last year and a half, this has also incorporated other companies such as Watium and Syder, which are companies that stand out especially in the electricity and gas supply sector. Due to this type of transaction, the figure of more than 411 million euros in invoicing has been achieved, as well as a total of more than 100,000 clients in the country. After the purchase of Gashogar by Grupo was announced Visalia, the group also announced that it would continue operating with the Gashogar and Watium brands, with the clear objective of leading the activity of what is known as "proximity energy". What Visalia seeks with this is to give citizens access to the renewable energy. This, especially to those people who live in buildings located in urban areas of Spain, through the installation of photovoltaic panels that change the way in which electricity is consumed and produced. In addition, it is important to highlight that, once the purchase of Gashogar was announced, Grupo Visalia explained that it would keep the Galve family as a partner, while maintaining the headquarters in Zaragoza. This, added to the great commercial power that Gashogar acquires after being integrated into the Visalia Group, particularly in an environment as complex as the one that is currently going through internationally, means that Gashogar can become the main alternative in the country to traditional energy sources. In this sense, the agreement may mean that Gashogar becomes the best option for residents and small and medium-sized companies compared to traditional energy sources. Thus, it will be possible to take a substantial step towards renewable and green energies at the national level. In an interview with Heraldo, Pedro Galve Pelayo, president of Gashogar, explained that: "This supply relationship with Shell, along with the great power business that Gashogar acquires with its integration into the Visalia group in an environment as complex as the current one, means that Gashogar can become the main alternative to traditional energy companies, especially for neighborhood communities and SMEs".
