ESKIŞEHIR, Turkey, Nov. 17, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Haier Europe, part of Haier Smart Home - the world's number one major home appliance company for 6 consecutive years1 - is expanding its manufacturing footprint in Europe with a new factory dishwasher at the company's industrial plant in Eskişehir, Turkey.
With an investment of more than 40 million euros, the new factory will have a total capacity of 1 million units per year. The new production plant reinforces Haier's presence in Europe, where the company stands out for its product leadership in several categories and aspires to be among the top three manufacturers of home appliances in the region.
The new factory -equipped with solar panels- presents an improved production capacity with high levels of automation: operating robots and advanced production processes thanks to 100% automatic measurement systems, leak detection and full traceability of critical components.
Haier Europe is consolidating its product leadership in the laundry sectors, both in the independent and integrated segments, for the three pan-European brands: Candy, Hoover and Haier. All products will offer advanced connectivity through the hOn app, the life ecosystem for smart home appliances capable of connecting all Haier Europe brand products.

The new dishwasher plant is located within Haier's New Green Field Production Campus in Turkey, where the company has been investing massively over the past two years, most recently opening a platform for all standard-size dryers in 2021. The expansion of the washing platforms plays a key role in the customer-focused and go-to-market strategy, as the company will continue to invest in new world-class energy innovations and launch proprietary technologies from Haier Europe.
