-Huawei presents its intelligent railway perimeter detection solution at the 11th UIC World Congress on High-Speed Rail
MARRAKECH, Morocco, March 10, 2023/PRNewswire/ -- Huawei unveiled its railway perimeter smart detection solution at the 11th UIC World Congress on High-Speed Rail being held in Morocco from March 7-10, 2023. The giant technology also exhibited its innovative solutions and flagship products for the railway industry. Among them, the Future Railway Mobile Communication System (FRMCS), the data communication network and the optical communication network. At the Huawei forum, Gu Yunbo, President of Huawei Enterprise Optics Division, introduced the Railway Perimeter Intelligent Detection Solution. He explained that the solution is based on a vision-optical convergence architecture, which enables fiber vibration detection along with analysis to protect railway perimeters with multidimensional awareness and high precision. The solution solves the low accuracy issues faced by conventional rail perimeter detection solutions, prevents missed alarms and emits few false alarms, ensuring safer and more efficient rail operations.
The world is building more high-speed rail and undergoing a digital and intelligent transformation. As such, the rail industry requires higher bandwidth, lower latency network communications to carry new services.
