The Association of Merchants of this Granada municipality has launched an ambitious innovative plan to relaunch its business fabric
Montefrío is one of the jewels of the province of Granada. In this picturesque municipality located 20 km west of the capital, tradition and modernity coexist in a unique monumental enclave, with a good number of idyllic viewpoints recognized even by National Geographic. Aware of the great potential that this town located in a strategically located geographical point has excellent and known for its multiculturalism, the Montefrío Merchants Association has launched an ambitious digitization program to boost the visibility of the local business fabric of the municipality and thus encourage both national and international tourism. Said digitization plan consists of a comprehensive remodeling of the entire online environment of the Merchants Association and the implementation of a series of actions linked to digital marketing to significantly improve the online presence of businesses and their projection towards the national and international market. It is an innovative project that will have a favorable impact not only on local businesses, whose spectrum ranges from traditional stores to some of the most recognized and awarded agri-food companies at the national level, but also on the municipality itself, generating global recognition from users of Anywhere in the world. It will therefore be the perfect showcase to publicize the numerous attributes of the municipality: places of monumental and cultural interest, tourist routes, calendar of festivities of public interest, gastronomy, etc. The impact will be clearly positive both for the economy and for the good projection of the image of the town. This initiative devised by the Association of Merchants of Montefrío is endorsed by the president of the organization himself, Juan Antonio Peregrina, whose effort and vision of the future have led to the launch of a digitalization project that has had the advice and invaluable help of two expert consultants in marketing and new technologies: Francisco Bautista Fernández and Marino Arjona Cano.
