The Spanish luxury packaging producer group plans to improve and increase production in the sector by 60% by 2024. The main objective is to provide the sector with all the Know-How, reactivity and competitiveness that the company has been acquiring after More than 25 years immersed in the luxury sector. Salinas Packaging Group closed 2022 with a turnover of €38M, this strategic turn responds to its growth and specialization plans.

Salinas Packaging Group, a leading company in Spain in the design, development and production of rigid cardboard packaging for the luxury sector, with more than 25 years of history, has inaugurated a new business unit specialized in the footwear sector. The group has undergone a major transformation since 2020 thanks to a significant international expansion and a readaptation of all internal processes towards a business model based on industry 4.0, and sustainability. The new business unit will allow Salinas Packaging Group to reinforce the Control of the fashion packaging supply chain in the most important footwear production areas located in Spain: Elda, Petrel, Villena, Almansa, Islas Baleares and Arnedo (where it already has an important logistics center). Fashion packaging and footwear represents for Salinas Packaging Group 13% of its total turnover. In this sense, the company foresees growth of more than 60% by 2024 thanks to this new business unit created under very clear differentiation vectors: physical proximity to the sector, a great strength of proposal and resolution of projects. In addition, 100 % of processes are in-house, and have a sustainable business strategy strongly oriented towards ESG policies. But the novelties do not stop there: the production unit has 6,000m2 of usable surface, whose investment in its logistical and technological adaptation is 2 million euros. Antonio Martínez, CEO of the entity, comments: "After so many years of work in the footwear industry, after so many ups and downs in this sector, it makes me very happy to be able to offer this quality proposal to the market. In addition, the manager adds: "I trust the sector, it is doing really well, we continue to be a world power in the manufacture of footwear.''In 2022, the expert company in exclusive and personalized packaging obtained a turnover of €38M, thanks to a significant international expansion and a readaptation of all internal processes towards a business model based on ESG concepts. Certificates such as ZERO WASTE, ECOVADIS GOLD and a decarbonisation plan that includes renewable energies, sustainable financing and compensation through reforestation endorse this new business model. These results have meant that the organization doubled its growth in less than three years, despite to having had to face constant critical moments such as the COVID, energy and raw materials crisis. After this end of the year, the brand has published a new strategic plan where it announces its intention to continue accelerating this strategy, as well as strengthening its positioning and organization by type of product and sector. Decisions like this will allow the company to carry out its plans of growth that, in the short term, include the creation of a large section of graphic arts equipped with the latest technology for printing and finishing, as well as the expansion of its range of products, to continue offering the best comprehensive and sustainable solutions to the sector of luxury packaging.
