MUMBAI, India, Feb. 8, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Tata Communications, the global commtech (communications technology) player, has partnered with Microsoft to provide collaboration flexibility and connectivity in Microsoft Teams for businesses in India .

The Tata Communications GlobalRapide platform will enable both Indian business users and multinationals with a presence in the country to seamlessly make and receive carrier-grade PSTN voice calls on any Teams device, anywhere in the world, using the Operator Connect platform.

With extensive reach in over 190 countries through partnerships with over 700 mobile network operators, Tata Communications is uniquely positioned to deliver this regulatory-compliant cloud calling and audio conferencing capability.

GlobalRapide offers enhanced fraud prevention capabilities and strict due diligence on local market regulations, enabling companies to securely engage and collaborate across their entire value chain around the world.

The platform offers an end-to-end managed services layer, providing deployment, onboarding and management of Teams, endpoint devices and SBCs (session border controllers) with improved usability, security and compliance, all on a single platform. This will streamline management of the Teams platform, providing businesses with complete control and visibility and without additional hardware costs.
