Valladolid, December 5, 2022.- Vallsur begins the most magical season of the year. Next Friday, December 9 at 7:00 p.m., the traditional lighting of Christmas lights will take place at the Valladolid shopping center, beginning a wide range of activities to celebrate these holidays.

To kick off Christmas, the well-known radio host Jimeno will be in charge of pressing the button for the Christmas lighting, and thus welcome the festivities. Throughout the afternoon, there will be a great party enlivened by the radio presenter, full of surprises, games, sweets and prizes, to enjoy with the family.

This lighting is carried out three weeks later than in previous years, with the aim of establishing energy savings during the celebration of the Christmas holidays, in line with Vallsur's commitment to the environment. In addition, during the Christmas campaign, the shopping center will also establish a reduced schedule for the lights, from 4:00 p.m. until closing, seeking to celebrate Christmas without forgetting its commitment to the environment.

The London Portobello market arrives in Vallsur for Christmas

Vallsur will also have different activities to enjoy the Christmas season with special enthusiasm. From December 14 to 23, the London Portobello Market arrives at the Valladolid shopping center, with all the charm of the popular market. The streets of the popular Notting Hill neighborhood move to Vallsur to bring the spirit of its stalls, decoration and shops closer.

Some of the coolest and most fashionable brands of the moment will show a wide variety of articles and exclusive creations in different stalls and stands. Accessories firms such as Acus Complementos, Pablo y Mayaya Sombreros, Lady Drama, Carrighan or Woonder Jewerly; as well as fashion and lifestyle brands such as Lucía Be or My Wander. You can also find floral details by the hand of Concari Flores; accessories for the home by Nuria Camano; Fooga Plan footwear; and baby fashion with Baby Bloom.

All decorated to create a truly authentic atmosphere, with the typical London phone booth serving as a fitting room. In addition, there will also be different photocalls with characteristic elements of the city: Big Ben, a changing of the guard booth, the Harry Potter platform, or the Portobello metro stop.

In addition, from December 19 to 22, the well-known illustrator Patricia Bolaños will make her designs to give away to clients, and also, on the 17th, “street” concerts will take place with different artists to liven up the afternoon and feel like one more visitor. on the London Underground.

To complete the schedule of Christmas activities, Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men will go to the Valladolid shopping center to collect the letters with the wishes of the little ones and talk to them to take stock of the year and wish them happy holidays.

Finally, until December 24, an Advent Calendar will be available in the shopping center app, where each day the box will be a store that will offer prizes to customers who open it, and from November 28 to 30, there will be three spaces to test the new Nintendo Switch games.
