Grammys 2017: What time, channel, who is performing, list of nominees

The 59th Annual Grammy Awards kicks off Sunday night at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Grammys are being hosted by CBS "Late Late Show" host James Corden. Can lead nominee Beyonce edge Adele in three of the Big Four categories? In addition to expected performers Beyonce, Katy Perry and Sturgill Simpson, who is performing at the Grammys? Is there a complete list of nominees for the 2017 Grammys?

See answers to these questions below.

When are the Grammys? Can you watch the Grammys online?

The 59th Annual Grammy Awards kicks off 8 p.m. Sunday night on CBS. A red carpet pre-show airs on CBS at 7:30 p.m., with broader coverage on E! beginning at 6 p.m.

Viewers can watch online at CBS's All Access live stream ($5.99 per month, one week free live stream available). The CBS All Access mobile app is also available.

Who has the most Grammy nominations this year? How many Grammys has Beyonce won.

On the strength of her huge hit LP "Lemonade," Beyonce leads the field with nine nominations. Queen Bey will face off against fellow diva Adele in several categories, including Album of the Year. Don't cry for Beyonce, even if she loses. Beyonce has won 20 Grammys in her career.

Who is most likely to win the Grammy for Album of the Year?

For our money, Beyonce seems to have the edge in Album of the Year. Check out our predictions for the Big Four Grammys categories here.

Who is hosting?

CBS "Late Late Show" host and "Carpool Karaoke" emcee James Corden will host the Grammy Awards for the first time. This breaks rapper/actor LL Cool J's five-year hosting streak. Though the Grammys typically makes little use of its host when compared to the Academy Awards and Golden Globes.
