The mayor socialist of Lille Martine Aubry, was victorious Sunday in the second round of municipal elections by a short head, beating "227 voice" its competitor environmentalist Stéphane Baly, announced to the AFP his entourage.

The suspense lasted a good part of the beginning of the evening, with the polls giving the two neck-and-neck, ahead of the candidate macroniste Violette Spillebout.
