The european Commission has granted Friday a conditional permission marketing for the drug Remdesivir for the treatment of the Covid-19, under the name of " Veklury ", which makes it the first medicine to be approved at the EU level against the disease caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.

The Remdesivir, which is currently the subject of an international race to make sure of sufficient inventory, has been licensed in an accelerated procedure, in the light of the health emergency.
