The administration Trump has taken the risk in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday to stretch a little more its relations with the european Union, in extending its list of products that may be subject to punitive taxes.

For the time being, this new hostile Washington remains virtual, but the relationships between the two trading powers are already very degraded by a series of u.s. initiatives since the arrival of Donald Trump in power in 2017.
