Various belgian players active in the live music launched Tuesday the solidarity fund LIVE2020. The initiative aims to collect funds to provide opportunities to the sector, severely affected by the crisis related to the epidemic of Covid-19.

The solidarity fund is not an alternative to the aid of the authorities, which will be needed, say the initiators of the project. The action put in place via the King Baudouin Foundation will provide additional assistance to workers in difficulty due to the crisis, but will also support recovery initiatives in the area of live music.
