The Interior minister Pieter De Crem (CD&V) announced, Friday, that reinforcements additional police officers have been scheduled for this weekend at the Coast and in major railway stations of the country, following clashes last week, including Blankenberge.

These events, which led between-time " four-judicial arrests and 17 administrative arrests ", had created a wave of criticism on the part of local authorities vis-à-vis the nmbs / SNCB and the federal government, accused of letting the mayors premises manage all only the problems connected to the inflow in times of high heat and coronavirus.
